We're looking for a medical doctor with strong leadership qualities to provide high-quality patient care. As Volusia County's leader in medical cannabis, we're committed to staying abreast of the latest advances and our ideal candidate will be too. This position will be part-time initially, then full-time after a couple of months. Salary is negotiable. ***Must have valid Florida medical license***

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health through interviews and examinations

• Determine if patients may benefit from medical cannabis

• Develop an individualized treatment plan for patients based on qualifying conditions

• Closely monitor patients' treatment and make any necessary adjustments to regimen

• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals

• Maintain patient medical records

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills

• Respect for patient’s confidentiality

• Compassion, empathy, and approachability

• Doctor of Medicine (or DO) with valid license to practice

• Previous experience as a physician, surgeon or other medical fields

• Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions

• Ability to build rapport with patients
